Debuted just last year November 2019, it has only been 10 months and 17 year old Singaporean singer-songwriter, HAVEN has just released her 5th single ‘EGO’ along with a new music video.
Watch her music videos and we think she can act pretty well, and that is really necessary in expressing songs emotions. Haven personally wrote this song, inspired by her own reflections on her life and moods as she navigated through internal conflict with herself and external conflict with others.
EGO was mentored by OPM singer-songwriter, Yeng Constantino, produced and arranged by award-winning producer-songwriter, Jonathan Manalo. The song was specially recorded at The Purple Room studios in Manila and mastered at LA Grammy Award-winning studio, The Bakery.
EGO’s latest music video is directed Kelvin Sng, a well-known Singaporean film director, which totally showcased her differently from previous songs, more wild and daring, somewhat a little rebellious.
We followed her on her first song debut till now and also were really impressed with her duet collaboration for ‘IMAGINE‘ with Kyle Echarri last year.
She has written her first song ‘A Piece of Paper‘, co-written with Juan Ezwan, sharing her thoughts about the need for paper qualifications, feeling frustrated and trying to strike a balance between aspirations, dreams and reality.
All her feeling are heartfelt and reflected in her songs, channeling her emotions to her songs as you can hear in ‘BLUE‘.
Moving on, she release two Mandarin singles with Singaporean producer singer songwriter, Zadon.
